What's an online poker tournament you ask? It's really simple; All of the players who enter the tournament begin with an equal amount of chips and play until one player wins everything. After regular time periods, the blinds and antes are raised, making the pots larger and the play more intense.

The advantage of a poker tournament for players, especially beginners, is they get to learn the game, and skills, of poker without losing large amounts of money. The best part is if you do well in the tournament you can WIN BIG!

There are three main types of tournaments; Single-Table, Multi-Table and Freerolls.

Single-Table Tournaments (also called STT's) are usually comprised of one table and are not scheduled. A sit & go poker tournament will start as soon as all the seats are filled and the prizepool is fixed.

Some sit & go tournaments are available 24-7 and some (like the special satellite tournaments) are only available at certain times of day.

Multi-Table Tournaments (also called MTT's) are scheduled in advance of the tournament start time and players must register in order to participate. As the tournament progresses and players are eliminated, the tables are consolidated until one "final table" in reached. Play will continue until someone wins.

Freeroll Tournaments are exactly like a Multi-Table Tournament except there is no buy-in fee to enter. In other words, players can enter for free and win money! Some freeroll tournaments have requirements (such as player points) and others have none.

$2.50+$0.25 Buy-in. Play this Hold'em No Limit tournament every day! It starts on the even hours Eastern Time. Levels every 10 minutes with starting chip stack of $2000. Registration opens 1 hour 50 minutes prior to game time

Value MTT

Running twice per-day, at Noon and Midnight Eastern Time. $10+$0 buy-in with a re-buy for $10+$1.00. Blinds will increase every 10 minutes. Registration for this tournament begins 10 hours prior to start time.

$1000 Free Roll

$1000 Guaranteed three times a week! Every Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday play this Free Roll at 9:00 PM Eastern Time. Registration opens at 7:00 PM Eastern Time Starting with 1500 chips, levels go up every 8 minutes in this Hold'em No Limit Free Roll.

Beginning December 24th the Sunday Free Roll will run at 1:00 PM Eastern Time allowing our European players to join in.

This tournament is designed for all the high rollers every day at 11:00 PM. No re-buy or add-on's in this tournament.
