HOW TO PLAY JOKERS WILD VIDEO POKER

Jokers Wild Poker is extremely popular because it moves fast and is easy to play, while retaining an element of strategy.

OBJECT OF THE GAME
To attain the highest ranked poker hand, using the Joker card as a wildcard. The payoff for each hand is displayed on the Video Poker machine face. Note that we use a 1-deck shoe.

TO BEGIN
1.
Select the 5 cent ($0.05), 25 cent ($0.25), 1 dollar ($1.00), or 5 dollar ($5.00) coin by clicking the appropriate denomination on the left of your screen.

2.
Deposit coins into the machine by clicking on the Coin Slot or the Bet One button. You can bet up to five coins per hand. If you click the Bet One button 5 consecutive times, the hand is automatically dealt.

3.
If you click the Bet Max button you will wager 5 coins, and your hand will automatically be dealt. There is no need to click the Deal button after you click Bet Max, as the cards are instantly dealt to you.


LET’S PLAY
Jokers Wild Video Poker uses a 53 card deck that includes one Joker that is reshuffled after every hand.

1.
Once the cards are dealt, you may select up to 5 cards to hold by clicking the card face or the hold button directly below the card.

2.
Once you have selected which cards to hold, click Deal and the remaining cards will be exchanged for new cards.

3.
After this second deal, you are paid out based on the rank of the resulting poker hand.

Cards are ranked according to the value of the number on the card or the value of the face. The ranking, from highest to lowest, is Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. The Ace can also be used to complete a low straight; A, 2, 3, 4, 5. In addition to numbers and faces, there are 4 different types of suits that are used to determine the value of a poker hand. These are Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, and Hearts.
